Welcome to Casa Rural Funkiness.
We want you to have an amazing stay, relax, enjoy the house and make some unforgettable memories. These Terms & Conditions are simply here to make sure everyone knows what to expect and to help us keep Casa Rural Funkiness beautiful for our guests.
1. Booking & confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed once the required payment has been received and the reservation has been confirmed by Casa Rural Funkiness or through Airbnb.
The person making the booking must be at least 26 years old and is responsible for providing accurate information.
By completing a booking, the person making the reservation confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions on behalf of everyone staying at the property.
2. Number of guests
The maximum number of guests permitted at Casa Rural Funkiness is the number stated on the booking confirmation.
Only guests registered for the reservation may stay overnight at the property.
Any change to the number of guests must be agreed with us in advance.
3. Check-in & check-out
Check-in: from 15:00
Check-out: by 11:00
Early check-in or late check-out may be possible upon request and subject to availability.
Additional charges may apply for late check-out where agreed in advance.
4. Guest registration
Spanish law requires accommodation providers to register guest information with the relevant authorities.
All guests are therefore required to provide accurate identification details and valid identification documents when requested.
Failure to provide the legally required information may prevent the guest from staying at the property.
5. Prices & payment
The total price of the accommodation and any additional services or charges will be clearly displayed before the booking is confirmed.
Any optional services, such as the jacuzzi where applicable, will be clearly identified and charged separately where applicable.
For direct bookings, payment terms will be confirmed before the reservation is accepted.
For bookings made through Airbnb, the payment and cancellation conditions of Airbnb and the selected rate will apply.
6. Cancellation
Cancellation conditions for direct bookings will be clearly communicated before payment and will form part of the booking agreement.
For bookings made through Airbnb, the cancellation policy displayed at the time of booking will apply.
Because Casa Rural Funkiness is booked for specific dates, the statutory 14-day consumer withdrawal right does not normally apply to accommodation bookings for a specific period.
7. Changes to a booking
Any request to change the dates, number of guests or other important booking details must be agreed with us in advance.
We will always do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability.
Any difference in price resulting from a change will be communicated before the change is confirmed.
8. Use of the property
Casa Rural Funkiness is provided for private holiday accommodation.
Guests must use the property, furniture, equipment and outdoor areas responsibly and with reasonable care.
The property must not be used for commercial activities, parties, events or gatherings without our prior written permission.
9. Parties, events & additional visitors
Parties, events, celebrations or gatherings involving people who are not registered guests are not permitted without our prior agreement.
The maximum occupancy of the property must never be exceeded.
Please respect the peaceful rural surroundings and keep noise to a reasonable level, particularly during the evening and night.
10. Damage & breakages
Guests are responsible for any damage, breakage or loss caused by themselves or members of their party, other than reasonable wear and tear.
Please let us know as soon as possible if something is accidentally damaged or broken. We much prefer an honest message to discovering it afterwards.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, reasonable costs resulting from damage or exceptional cleaning may be charged to the person responsible.}
11. Cleaning
The property will be professionally cleaned before your arrival.
Guests are kindly asked to leave the property in a reasonably clean and tidy condition at the end of their stay.
Normal end-of-stay cleaning is included in the booking where stated.
Additional cleaning charges may apply in cases of excessive dirt, stains, rubbish or cleaning requirements beyond normal use.
12. Pool & jacuzzi
The swimming pool and jacuzzi are provided for the enjoyment of our guests.
Use of the pool and jacuzzi is at the guest’s own responsibility.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times around the pool and jacuzzi.
For safety reasons, glassware is strictly prohibited in or around the pool and jacuzzi.
Plastic glasses are provided in the outdoor kitchen.
Guests using the jacuzzi are kindly asked to shower before entering.
The jacuzzi may only be used when it has been included in or added to the reservation.
13. Outdoor areas & rural surroundings
Casa Rural Funkiness is located in a beautiful rural setting with extensive private land.
The property includes uneven ground, steps and natural areas. Guests should take reasonable care when moving around the property, particularly after dark.
Guests are responsible for supervising children and ensuring that they remain in safe areas.
Please respect the surrounding landscape, wildlife and natural environment.
14. Weather & outdoor cushions
Andalusia can occasionally surprise us with strong winds or rain.
When bad weather is expected, guests are kindly asked to bring all outdoor cushions, pillows and other outdoor textiles into the outdoor kitchen or another designated sheltered area.
This helps us keep everything clean, dry and beautiful for future guests.
15. Food & bedrooms
For the comfort and cleanliness of the house:
Please do not eat or drink in the beds or bedrooms.
This includes meals, sweets, crisps and other snacks.
We have plenty of lovely spaces throughout the house and outdoor areas where you can enjoy your food and drinks.
16. Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the house.
Smoking outside is permitted only where it can be done safely.
Please dispose of cigarette ends responsibly and never throw them onto the surrounding land, as the area is rural and can be extremely dry during the summer months.
17. Toilets & plumbing
Please do not flush toilet paper down the toilets.
Used toilet paper should be placed in the bins provided in each bathroom.
We appreciate that this may be different from what you are used to, but it is important for the local plumbing and wastewater system and helps prevent blockages.
18. Waste & recycling
Guests are kindly asked to dispose of household waste and recycling in the appropriate communal containers.
When driving down from Casa Rural Funkiness and reaching the MA-3107, the communal waste containers are located on the right-hand side.
19. Pets
Pets are not permitted at Casa Rural Funkiness.
This applies to all animals, including dogs, cats and other pets.
Guests must not bring pets to the property or arrange for pets to visit during their stay.
Assistance dogs are subject to applicable legal protections.
20. Personal belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during their stay.
We recommend that valuables are not left unattended.
Casa Rural Funkiness cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
21. Access for maintenance
As a rural property, certain essential services such as pool maintenance, gardening or technical maintenance may occasionally be required during your stay.
Where reasonably possible, we will inform guests in advance.
In an emergency or where necessary to protect the property or persons, access may be required without prior notice.
22. House rules
Guests agree to respect the house rules provided at Casa Rural Funkiness.
The house rules form part of these Terms & Conditions.
We reserve the right, where permitted by law, to take appropriate action if serious or repeated breaches occur.
23. Termination of the stay
Serious misconduct, illegal activity, deliberate damage, significant disturbance, exceeding the maximum occupancy or repeated serious breaches of the house rules may result in the termination of the stay, subject to applicable law.
Any such action will be taken proportionately and in accordance with applicable legislation.
24. Our responsibility
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that Casa Rural Funkiness and its facilities are maintained in good working order.
Occasionally, circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect a service or facility, such as extreme weather, utility interruptions, technical failures or maintenance requirements.
Where possible, we will take reasonable steps to resolve any issue as quickly as possible.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
25. Complaints
If you experience any problem during your stay, please contact us as soon as possible.
We genuinely want you to enjoy your holiday and will always do our best to resolve problems quickly.
Guests retain all rights to submit complaints or claims in accordance with applicable Spanish and Andalusian consumer and tourism legislation.
26. Applicable law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Spanish law and the applicable legislation of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.
Any mandatory consumer rights or other statutory rights applicable to the guest remain unaffected by these Terms & Conditions.
